Well, this year Ashlyn has discovered Christmas Carols. She has been catching on to all the tunes and words(sort of) to many popular Christmas carols. She sings many of them loud and clear, especially when she doesn't think anyone is listening. However, as I was listening to her belt them out this evening; I did notice that, as many children will do, a few of the words in every song were not quite how I remember them to be. I will now share Ashlyn's version of a few popular Christmas carols. You may want to sing along.
We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Good Tidings we bring to you and your KING we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year.

Even into my teenage years, I used to think the words to "Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland" went "...in the meadow we can build a snowman, and pretend that he is sparse and brown..."
I never got why you'd want a snowman that was sparse and brown.
